Born in Papakura - New Zealand, 1964

2001-2002 Studied at NZMTC

I live in the mighty Whangaparaoa Peninsular on the Coast north of Auckland at a beach called Arkles Bay.

I started working in a camera store retouching photos and working the darkroom. I then got behind the camera 1989 working for Australia Consolidated Press as a photographer for eight of their magazine titles.

I set up my own wedding photography and aerial photography business in 1994. I added a photographic studio to the business in 1997.

I have always worked in photography and know it inside out. I have an eye for snapping the moments that normally pass un-noticed and always look for the natural rather than the posed.

With my scenic and nightscape pics I am always looking to surprise and have people talking about how the shot was captured.

The pic on this page was voted in second place in the 2011 Nikon International photo Comp, one of photography's most esteemed competitions with more than 18,000 photographers from 153 countries.
